What crosses the line, and what does not
They see
- Progress against the contract, by area of work
- Every claim lodged, what was certified, and the statutory dates
- Variations submitted, approved and rejected, with values
- Documents issued to them, at the current revision
- Who is on site and whether their inductions are current
They never see
- The rate build-up: labour constants, material, on-cost
- What the work cost QClad, or the margin on it
- Hours booked, day cards, or what anybody is paid
- Any other client's job, or anything about another client
- Anything QClad have not chosen to issue
Several head contractors already make QClad work inside the client's own platform and report in the client's format. That does not go away, and QClad keep their own copy of everything regardless. The portal is so the two agree without anyone rekeying.
