Corroded girts beyond the marked-up extent, CHPP east wall

On stripping the east wall cladding we have found girt corrosion extending approximately 14 metres beyond the extent marked up on the scope drawings, between gridlines 9 and 12. Photographs attached. The additional girts are not in our contract scope. Please advise whether you want them replaced under a variation or handed back to your structural contractor, as the sheeting crew cannot proceed past gridline 9 either way.
